Students enrolled in “Animating Science,” a course designed and taught by Anna Lindemann, presented work inspired by the University of Connecticut Rettenmeyer Army Ant Guest Collection as part of the “Be Our Guest” opening reception. Students in the course explored how digital media can be used to communicate scientific ideas in new and engaging ways and how scientific ideas can inspire new ways of working with digital media. The work they presented can be viewed here: http://web.uconn.edu/mnh/antu/antu-animating-science.html
