A fully staged production of Theory of Flight comes to Yale's Off Broadway Theater. Lucy Fitz Gibbon performs as as the Bird Spirit and Anna Lindemann as scientist Alida Kear. The production is directed by Sara Holdren. The Off-Broadway performances of Theory of Flight are amongst the events in the debut year of the Franke Program in Science and the Humanities, a new Yale University initiative that aims to foster cross-disciplinary dialogue, creative collaboration, and research among scientists and humanists.
